In addition to the regular review of the financial statements by the GKUW Executive Committee and Board of Directors, a volunteer Finance Committee also examines financial activities on a monthly basis.  The GKUW Finance Committee comprises community members with specialized and significant experience in nonprofits, banking, public accounting and investing.

GKUW is audited annually by an independent accounting firm and has consistently received an unqualified letter (often referred to as a clean opinion letter).

The Annual Audit, Form 990 and Financial Statements are reviewed and approved in June and August, respectively.
